1st spring picking. This beautiful jade green tea is picked before the first spring rains at the foot of China’s most famous mountain. It is one of the best green teas in China and is hand crafted from young buds. It smells like orchid or gardenia flowers after hot water is poured into it and has a mild, sweet, fruity taste. The infusion is clear. Brew it in a light colored porcelain or glass cup so you can admire the beautiful buds and smell the fragrance while you sip it. Be very gentle when you put this tea into or take them out of a container to avoid breaking the buds. They are fragile. Packaged in a foil bag.
