This early spring harvest yields all the health benefits of matcha plus a delightfully smooth character. This matcha is harvested and produced from early spring buds and tender young tea leaves. Our matcha tea plants are grown in partial sunlight (i.e. they are covered with a canopy) a few weeks each spring, boosting the amount of clorophyl in the leaves; hence the very high concentration of anti-oxidants. After harvest, the tea is meticulously ground into very fine particles and shipped to Two Hills, where we keep it in a temperature controlled room. It is perfect for making matcha lattes, frappes, ice cream and smoothies.

I love making lattes with this product. Tastes lovely with almond milk. The air tight tin seems to be better for preservation as well, and easier to keep in the fridge than a pound. The price could be a bit cheaper for the quantity however!
